Son of Oak is proud to present Legend in the Mist, our exciting new Rustic Fantasy RPG! This Kickstarter ALREADY FUNDED (thanks to our dear backers!) the creation of two books – the Legend in the Mist Core Book and the Hearts of Ravensdale Setting Book – as well as a range of accessories such as premade character folios, a Master of Ceremonies (GM) screen, cards, dice, maps, and more.
Spin a fireside tale of unlikely villagers setting out on a quest into a greater unknown world, rife with peril and mystery, in the vein of The Lord of the Rings, The Wheel of Time, Princess Mononoke, and many other classic fantasy stories, or create your own legendary realms with the game’s open-ended system!

Hello warriors of love from anywhere and everywhere, we have a quick newsflash for you!
Shipping News
The QUEERZ! game boxes are making their way to you as we speak! Freight ships are currently carrying the color-coded heroes to you in the US, Europe, UK, Canada, and Australia fulfillment centers.
Due to current events in the Red Sea, however, the northern hemisphere shipments of QUEERZ! have been delayed from early February to a range of late February-early March. We apologize for the delay, unfortunately this situation comes down to factors that are beyond our power to change. We will do our best to stay on top of things, keep you all updated, and expedite delivery as soon as we receive the games.

Address Confirmation on the Next Update
We plan to send our next update around the middle of February, when you can expect to be prompted to update your mailing address. We are holding off on address updates for now to keep them as close as possible to shipping.
The exception to this is anyone receiving their package in Oceania or South/East Asia, where our local fulfillment partner is expected to reach out to you in early February to confirm your address before sending the package.

We've been preparing for our next kickstarter starting in February, Legend in the Mist, a rustic fantasy RPG. We were hoping to have already fully delivered QUEERZ! before beginning this campaign, but global developments added a little time to the journey.
However, we've been pleasantly surprised by the coverage and interest Legend in the Mist has already gotten, including articles in PC Gamer and Dicebreaker. Legend in the Mist is at over 5,000 Kickstarter followers now, and we hope some of you will join the party too!

Hello there sparkly divas and rock stars with rainbow guitars!
This is a quick update to let you know the status of the QUEERZ! production. While print has been slightly delayed again, the entire print process should be concluded by end of next week. At this point, the print house will pack the boxes and prepare them for sea freight to fulfillment centers in the US, UK, EU, Canada, and Australia.
If the sea gods are kind, the games will arrive in fulfillment centers around the end of January or early February, and will be distributed tobackers during the month of February.
We will ask you to update your addresses on our next update around mid-January. At this point, you don't need to take any further action, except to feast your eyes on these beautiful photos!
We acknowledge that it's been a very long wait, and we're grateful for your patience. At the same time, we're so excited that this game is finally going to be in your hands and that the battle against Ignorance will gain new, colorful allies -- with some very nice dice!!

It's time for an update!
QUEERZ! Comics Vol. #1
First thing's first - we recently sent out the first volume of the QUEERZ! comic book to all backers. If you read it, what did you think?? This volume is just the interlude to the adventures of the Queerz, but it already packs some heartwarming and action-filled adventures. If you didn't receive it, please reach out to [email protected] so we can fix that!
Print Status Update
Now to the big stuff. We have had various delays during the month of October, both internally and with the printing partner, mostly going back and forth and tinkering with the samples and final specs of the product. We have finally overcome all of that and have December 1st as the designated date when all printed copies would be ready. We are exploring possibilities for expediting the freight to get the products to you as soon as possible. We will update again as soon as we have a final answer and expected delivery date - stay tuned.

In Other News
- We're getting ready for our next Kickstarter next year, but we won't launch it before this KS is delivered. It's a fantasy RPG titled Legend in the Mist, and at this point we're only launching the preview page to begin collecting followers.
- Our annual Black Friday All Month sale on the City of Mist website starts tomorrow! If you haven't had a chance to grab City of Mist in this project or if your friends want to get in on the misty noir action, this is a great time to do so, with 30%-45% off on book bundles and sets!
- Speaking of friends, we are also about to launch a referral program for City of Mist ambassadors called Awakeners.
